Autumn 2015 in the Orchard
Mulberries - for the first time since the tree was planted!
Our Arbutus attracted lots of attention. Known as the Strawberry Tree, it flowers and fruits at the same time producing tiny bell-shaped flowers and bright red spiky fruits which are edible and which taste faintly of strawberries.
The Orchard looked stunning this autumn. These pictures were taken before the grass was cut (with thanks to Taunton Deane DLO).
